The winning photo captured by Pfotokho Kape in the 1st photography contest organized by I Love Mao Naga (ILMN)’ a community based social media page on the theme “A look at terrace paddy farming in Mao, showcasing the diversity.” Marükho Maheo, and Mathibo Bou were adjudged 1st and 2nd Runner Up respectively. According to the oragniser, the competition was organized “to showcase the diversity of Mao Naga of Manipur” and also “to create a platform for potential young youths and also to promote tourism in the beautiful land of Mao where human still co-exist with nature.” About 57 contestants participated in the contest and each winner was awarded cash prize with a certificate. The contest also awarded 5 consolation winners with a cash prize.

New Market Women Organization (NMWO) undertakes cleaning and pruning of potted flowers along the road side in Kohima on September 5. The initiative of “The Green Line” Kohima has been receiving positive response from various individuals.

As part of strengthening ‘The Green Line’ Kohima, Supply Colony has donated more than 100 potted plants on September 5. These potted plants will be placed at the different locations of Kohima.

KG Kenye, MP, Rajya Sabha visited Chizami Creativity Hub - a community quarantine centre for returnees from both within and outside of the state on September 4 last. During the visit, Dr. Naresh Ram, founder and president, Akhand Bharat Parishad (United India Association), a social organization for peace & progress in the country, has also distributed 2000 cotton masks, Homeopathic immunity booster medicine to prevent COVID -19 and an NTBIO Rapid Test kits for COVID -19.
