World Mission and National Christian Council conducted World Mission Live School facilitator’s seminar at Eastern Bible College, Dimapur on May 10 and 11. The World Mission Centre Live School is globally recognised programme operating in over 97 countries partnering with local churches to train mission workers to evangelise the world and gather the end time harvest.

Cornerstone School and College, Dimapur organised a felicitation programme for Lovi Awomi on May 12. Lovi who is a student of Cornerstone has been shortlisted to represent Nagaland in Miss Femina India 2022. The felicitation programme was attended by the principal, faculty and the students. Lovi also interacted with the students.

Research Cell of Unity College and Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur renewed MoA for Academic Resources for Unity College (ARUC) to facilitate research, consultancy and extension activities for another period of three years. The Renewal Statement was inked by Dr Lanunsangla Tzudir, Publisher, Heritage Publishing House, Dimapur and Unity College IQAC Coordinator Dr Adani Ngullie and Research Cell Coordinator Dr Rimmei Longmei on May 10 at the HPH Office.

Team Indian Air Force led by Wing Commander S Shanmugam Commanding Officer 11 Airmen Selection Centre Guwahati Assam met Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS at his official chamber on May 11. The team highlighted to the DC regarding feasibility of conducting prospective IAF recruitment drive in the district. CO 11 ASC also discussed with DC the ways and means of spreading awareness about IAF and reaching out to the youth.  DC Dimapur assured all support towards the endeavours of Team IAF. Modern College, Kohima and Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) conducted the Youth Employment Programme(YEP) from April 19 to May 11. TCS conducted the programme free of cost whileModern College hosted it as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative and Community Outreach Programmerespectively. This is the third time TCS has associated with Modern College to train graduates.Twelve trainees completed the programme and were awarded with certificates by Dr Vitsou Yano, Principal and John Besii, Administrator. Tandrima Ray Bhattacharya from TCS Kolkata was the trainer.

World Record holder Pastor Benny Prasad visited Kohima Bible College for a special service with the students of the theological institute on May 12. In a brief message Benny Prasad said, “If you have vision, we know how to pray and radiate better. If there is vision, provision comes.” He also shared about his ministry at Chai 3:16 in Bangalore and played a musical piece with his South African flute. 

A  Khelo India Centre  was inaugurated at HL Singson  Memorial Indoor Stadium, Ahthibung  town on May 10  by  Megholhu Dolie, Director,  Department of Youth  Resource & Sports,  in the presence  of Alun Hangsing (NCS) Rtd,  Asekho Talie, DSO Peren,  Ichirang Zeliang,  President  PDBA and others.  Invocation was said by Rev Lenkhokam Hangsing, vote of thanks by Letgin Singson, Vice Chairman, Adhoc Town Committee, and the benediction by Seilun Singson, President, KBAN.
