173 Bn CRPF, Dimapur celebrated Hindi Diwas from September 1 to 15. On the occasion, Commandant Vishnu Gautam, 173 Bn CRPF read out the message from DG CRPF Kuldeep Singh. Khensa village under Mokokchung district has successfully conducted the vaccination of all eligible population under its jurisdiction with both doses of Covishield vaccine on September 14. Around 700 eligible beneficiaries took the first dose on June 17 and 22, followed by second dose on September 9 and 14. The drive was jointly initiated and executed by Khensa Village Council, Khensa Students’ Union, the Village Community Surveillance Team comprising of ASHA, NSRLM Community Cadres and Anangwadi, and staff of Sub-Centre, Khensa under the guidance of Mokokchung District Immunization Officer, Dr Ayangla Saku and her medical team. It is worth mentioning that Khensa village is one of the large and highly populated villages to achieve 100 % vaccination in Mokokchung district.
