Livingstone Foundation International College, Dimapur faculty development program was organized by IQAC committee on ‘Challenges of teachers in higher education’ with Rev Fr Dr C P Anto as resource person on October 16. The programme was chaired by Dr Tianla Mar assistant professor in department of education, Medozanuo Chaplin delivered the invocation, welcome address was delivered by Principal Dr RK Behera, vote of thanks by Achilo Kikon, assistant professor, political science and benediction by Viphiranuo Seyie, Assistant Professor, English.

Department of Soil & Water Conservation, Tuensang conducted training under soil health card & soil health management schemes of National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture 2020-2021. JSCO, Beso Chang in his keynote informed that 2,280 soil samples covering a model villages has already been tested and is in the process for obtaining SHC, through which an individual farmer would be able to know the fertility status of his farm. During the technical session, Programme Assistant, KVK, Seveto spoke on ‘Importance of soil health: Concept and practices.” He demonstrated on soil sample collection and geo tagged of the collective sample. Farmers from 13 villages, namely, Yimpang, Taknyu, Chendang, Hakchang, Noksen, Longra, Yangpi, Old Chungliyimti, Thronger, Phiri Ahir, Chare village, Chungtor and Lirise attended the training.
