A two-day long Alder Fest 2022 under the aegis of Alder College Kohima got underway here today at the college premises. Alder Fest is an annual feature of the college with an objective to encourage the students to involve in entrepreneurial skills. Day one events witnessed spicy noodles eating competition, food stalls, pork fat eating competition, traditional fire making and crossfit competition. Meanwhile, the 1st Inter-College Naga wrestling competition will take place on April 23 from 10:00 AM onwards. It will be followed by Karaoke and live performance by Abdon Mech.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Immanuel College, Dimapur jointly organised an awareness programme on career opportunities in Indian Air Force (IAF) with S Shanmugam, Wing Commander (Commanding  Officer), IAF as resource person at College Auditorium on April 22. Shanmugam highlighted the career opportunities in IAF and encouraged the students to become an air warrior. He also highlighted the role and functions of IAF, the different branches of IAF and eligibility to enter into this field. It was followed by interactive session with the students and distribution of posters.
