In commemoration of the 8th year of BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and culmination of Seva Sushsanaur Garib Kalyan programme, BJP Mokokchung district organized a mega bike/vehicle rally at Mokokchung on June 15. The rally traversed places around Mokokchung district with a halt at Chami village – Soul Care Children’s Home – where the BJP presented provisions. The children at the home also presented a song for the visiting BJP party leaders. The rally was formally flagged off by former minister and district in-charge Nuklutoshi Longkumer. The Peren Muiteume Tariam (Peren Leadership Program) was held PBM Kekie Ki, Peren Town on June 15. It was hosted by Peren Baptist Missions. The Tuli Sub-division inspection team carried out spot inspection of unauthorized check gates under the sub-division on June 14. The inspection was led by District Administration and Police and no unauthorized check gates were found to be functional. Public have been encouraged to report any incident of unauthorized/illegal collection of money to the phone numbers and email address provided by the government.
