Under the NBCCYD “Share your Needs, Share your Gifts” ministry, a new Mission Centre Staff building was donated and constructed by the Department of Youth Ministry (DoYM, WSBAK at the Mission Centre of Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) at Singrijan Village, Chümoukedima on August 24. The building was dedicated by K Nifato Chishi, Secretary, DoYM , WSBAK. Rev Dr K Santabir Rai, Executive Secretary of AGBCN in his speech lauded the DoYM, WSBAK for their enormous contributions and efforts in constructing the building. The program concluded with a prayer of blessing by Rev Dr Phughoto Sema, Executive Secretary WSBAK.

The competition was organized with an aim to leverage the potential for Science, Mathematics and Technology in classroom setting and beyond the four walls of classroom.The Lions Club of Dimapur Japfu, Dist 322D hosted the inaugural ceremony of “Rohit Metha Lion Quest Week” at St Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Dimapur. The programme, which was co- supported by Lions Club Dimapur & Blue Venda, was graced by VDG I Lion, Lalit Kr Kothari & VDG II Lion, Dr Neena Dutta along with DC Lions Quest Lion Neeta Agarwal. DG Lion Th Kesho Singh also joined the ceremony virtually. The Lions quest programme was developed by Lions Club International. It is a Pre K-12 standard program that integrates social and emotional learning, character education, drug and bullying prevention, and service learning to build 21st century life skills.The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of MGM College, Dimapur, organized a speech and poster-making competition in the college auditorium on August 23. The competitions were held under the themes ‘Remember and Commit’ for the speech competition and ‘HIV/AIDS: Breaking the Chain’ for the poster-making competition.Model Christian College hosted its 16th Fresher’s Meet 2024 with the theme ‘Incandescence.’ Alise Sangtam and Linokali K Achumiwere were declared Mister and Miss Fresher, 2024 respectively.The Health and Sanitation Committee of MGM College organized a significant seminar and poster-making competition in the college auditorium.
