Students of GHSS Singrijan went on a one day exposure trip to Heirloom Naga, Sovima; Bee Mission, 5th Mile; and Bamboo Resource Center, 5th Mile. The trip was funded by the Lighthouse NECTAR project, Nagaland. Altogether 20 students of class 10 and 12 together with 6 teaching staff visited the 3 centers.
Agape Higher Secondary School Kiphire held the first Freshers Day in the school campus under the theme 'towards a new beginning' on September 8. Welcoming the freshers and the first batch of the school, Administrator of the school, Lipichem congratulated the students for working hard and passing HSLC to attend HSSLC level. He urged them to come together to learn as this is the only time and space where they learn to be someone ten years from now. He further encouraged the students to broaden their perspectives and widen their horizons. Abigal and Tsalise were judged Miss and Mr Talent for the academic session 2023.Rotary Club Dimapur conferred 11 GMS educators with the National Builder Awards, a highlight of the Rotary India Literacy Mission on September 7. The event was graced by chief guest Dr. M. Chuba Ao National Vice President BJP. Additionally, the Rotary's Excellence Award was presented to Deep Kumar and his team Faith In Action for their Guinness World Record achievement. The ceremony was orchestrated by project in-charge RS Panesar, with an inaugural speech delivered by President Subir Saha, celebrating the efforts and achievements of the awardees in nurturing the community's growth and education. The secretarial announcement was done by Amit Sharma, and the programme ended with a vote of thanks by Sanjay Jain.
