Along with the rest of the country, Fire Station, Khuzama observed National Fire Service week on April 14 with the theme; ‘Awareness in Fire Safety for Growth of National Infrastructure’. The programme was held at Sacred Heart High School Khuzama. During the programme, Officer in charge of Fire Service Khuzama, Maisunsilakbo appealed to the gathering to take note of the demonstration shown in fire safety measures, LPG care maintenance and safety, rescue technique bandages and use operation of fire extinguishers. Commemorating the birth of Dr BR Ambedkar, the Father of Indian Constitution, BJP Mokokchung District organised a programme at BJP Office with Pranab Singh, General Secretary of 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal as the main speaker.
