A truck carrying construction materials for the Nagaland Institute of Medical Science & Research (Kohima Medical College) met an accident in Kohima, below North Police Station on April 21. Source informed that one private house and four shops on the road side have been damaged. No casualty has been reported. (Morung Photo)

The Department of Zoology, St John College rescued a Slow Loris from the roadside outside the college gate on April 20.  Slow Loris are nocturnal, tree dwelling creatures on the IUCN Critically Endangered list, and must be handled with care.  The department contacted the officials at Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar, Dimapur who promptly arrived to take the animal into their care.
