Multiple landslides occurred along Phek-Pfutsero road on August 5 and 6. The road has been temporarily opened. Commuters have been advised to avoid night travel on this route.

 

World Breastfeeding Week under the theme “Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding support for All” was launched at District Hospital Zunheboto and observed across all health units in the district from August 1 to 7. During the weeklong observation, the health professionals educated the mothers on the importance and benefits of exclusive breastfeeding. The participants were made aware and recommended to exclusively breastfeed their new-born for six months which proves to be beneficial for both the mother and child. (Photo Courtesy: CMO office Zunheboto)
