Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio inaugurated Multidiscipline Sports Stadium, Meluri during the inauguration day of Meluri District on February 21. It has been inaugurated in the presence of Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor NRE & NSDMA and S Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland. This project (Pre-Engineered Infrastructure) was funded by SASCI 2023-24 and implemented by Youth Resources & Sports department, Government of Nagaland.
Alder College, Kohima underwent its NAAC Assessment (2nd Cycle) on February 6 and 7 and has been graded B+ with 2.59 on a seven point scale. The Peer Team included Chairperson- Prof Vijay Dev Singh, University of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, Member Coordinator-Prof Rudragouda R Biradar, Registrar, Central University of Karnataka, Kalaburagi, Karnataka and Member- Dr Sunita Wadikar, Principal, Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, Maharashtra.
