Altar Servers Christ the King Parish camp was held from July 2 to 5 at Holy Cross Church Chedema with the theme 'As for me I will serve the Lord' Joshua 24:15. The camp was organised in commemoration of Catholic Juniors Association Kohima Village Golden Jubilee. Their aim was to start the Altar Servers group in all the villages under Christ the King Parish. From six villages a total of 80 children attend the camp. It was organised by Catholic Juniors Association Kohima Village and Holy Cross Church Chedema.   

Canara Bank’s ARM Branch in Guwahati has attained its 120th Foundation Day. On Saturday, the branch organised a tree plantation drive at the Batahguli Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC). The event was attended by Lok Nath, General Manager & Circle Head, N Srinivasa Rao, Deputy General Manager and Pranami Sikha Bharali, Medical Officer of the UPHC. As part of the drive, 15 tree saplings were planted within the premises of the health centre.
Assam Rifles organised a Security Coordination Meeting at Chakhabama, Kohima, with the Gaon Buras (GBs) and Chairmen of villages falling under its Area of Responsibility (AOR). Representatives from the following villages participated in the meeting: Kezo Town, Kikruma, Sakhabama, Kidima and Dihoma.
Eden Higher Secondary School, Dimapur organised an interactive session with Thungchanbemo Tungoe, CEO of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) on July 5. Tungoe shared insights into DMC’s ongoing initiatives and his vision for Dimapur’s growth. He urged students to adopt waste segregation at home and cultivate a habit of reading newspapers regularly to stay informed and prepared for competitive exams. Addressing educators, he emphasised the importance of humility and role of educators in shaping not just academic success but also responsible and compassionate citizens. The session, held under the guidance of School Chairman Dr ML Ngullie, highlights the institution’s commitment to experiential learning and community engagement.
