The Home Guards' Civil Defence, State Disaster Response Force conducted a training on First Aid and First Responder Training at Rengma Sector Church Building, Bayavü on June 12. The training on bandaging, CPR and emergency method of rescue was given to the youths of the locality keeping in mind the importance of having first aid and first responders from within the locality that can help as volunteers in times of crisis where every second counts.

The three village councils namely Old Ngaulong, Bamsiakilwa and New Ngaulong lauded the DDMA Peren for their timely intervention in clearing and repairing the road blockade between the three villages caused due to landslide and felling of trees during Remal cyclone. The village councils also expressed their appreciation to the Administration, PWD, Executive Engineer Peren and SDO Tening for providing with machineries for repairing work. Village community also applauded T Temjen Jamir, JE Tening for taking initiative and giving hope and encouragement to the people of remote villages that the government is there for its citizens. 
The Sumi Totimi Hoho (STH) organised a public platform speech for women intending candidates for the forthcoming ULB election, at Centre Point, Axis Bank building, Zunheboto town on June 12. All together, 9 intending female candidates from Women Reservation Wards participated and delivered their speeches, which were witnessed by Sümi Hoho, Sümi Kukami Hoho, Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, Sümi Youth Organization, Zunheboto Range Students’ Unoin, STL from different areas and units, elders and adequate presence of citizens from Zunheboto district. Kindle Dental, in association with the Tuensang Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), organized free dental health camps in memory of late Satya Kumar Singha of Tuensang Town Pharmacy on June 8 and 9. A total of 118 patients were treated in Tuensang town and 36 in Tuensang village. The organizers plan to conduct similar camps in the future for the betterment of the public and the business community, a press release by TCCI stated. 
Assisi Centre for Integrated Development in collaboration with National Domestic Workers Movement commemorated World Day against Child Labour in Master colony and Sewak colony on June 12. Speakers, Sr Pramila and Sr Jobina enlightened on the importance of observing the day. The program was attended by around160 members in both the location.

District Administration, Longleng in collaboration with Artificial Limbs Corporation (ALIMCO) distributed assistive aids to the beneficiaries of Longleng town under Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) scheme on June 13. The items distributed were of two categories - generic items like walking stick, elbow crutch, hearing aids; artificial dentures, tripods/tetrapod's and special items like wheelchairs, chair with commode, silicon foam cushion, spinal support, Lumbosacral belt (LS). The beneficiaries of (RSY) scheme are senior citizens (above 60 years) belonging to BPL category. The implementing agency i.e. ALIMCO will provide one year free maintenance of the aids and assisted devices supplied by them. The distribution programme was managed by the EAC, Longleng, Vitolu Chishi.
Scrutiny of nominations papers filed by 17 candidates from 9 wards for the upcoming ULB Election for Chiepbhobozou Town Council was conducted on June 13 as specified in the notification served earlier. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer, Chiepbhobozou Town, Alemyapang Longchar examined the nomination papers of the candidates in his office chamber in the presence of the Observer, S Tainiu Khiamniungan, Additional Secretary and the candidates in person.The exercise of scrutiny concluded peacefully.
Scrutiny of nominations papers filed by candidates for the upcoming ULB Election for Bhandari Town Council was taken on June 13 as specified in the notification served earlier. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer, Bhandari, Longdiba L. Sangtam examined the nomination papers of the candidates in his office chamber, in the presence of the Observer, Assistant Returning Officer and the candidates in person. The exercise of scrutiny concluded peacefully. After scrutiny was conducted, the Observer, accompanied by several head of offices and officers inspected the designated polling stations of the 9 (nine) wards for Election preparedness.
Scrutiny for ULB election 2024 for Phek Town Council was conducted in the office chamber of ADC & RO, Phek, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi on June 13. Scrutiny of nomination papers for all the 25 (twenty-five) intending candidates from various political parties under 11 (eleven) wards of Phek for election to the Phek Town Council was conducted successfully.
