In alignment with eco-friendly initiatives, a tree plantation drive was conducted on November 2 at the District Hospital, Zunheboto. This plantation drive was organized in collaboration with the Forest Department, Zunheboto, whose team, led by Tsuamki Yimchunger, Assistant Conservator of Forests, and Hekato Yeptho, Deputy Ranger, coordinated the plantation activities. The hospital staff participated in this drive, contributing to the enhancement of the hospital’s environment.
The Kohima Law College (KLC) has celebrated its Pre-Christmas-cum-Thanksgiving programme on November 1 at Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima. The programme was organized by Evangelical Union of KLC with Kezhokhoto Savi, Assistant Professor, KLC as the main speaker. Some of the highlights of the programme were Carol singing competition, entertainment, gift exchange and a feast.Modern Higher Secondary School and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kohima organised an awareness and education programme on drug addiction and substance abuse on November 4. The resource person, Neitho P Ezung, Assistant Director Kripa Foundation, Kohima emphasised on the importance of education in addressing drug addiction and substance abuse, discussing strategies for overcoming these challenges and promoting healthier choices.
