Training and awareness on dental hygiene for community leaders, school teachers, health workers, Sunday school teachers and anganwadi workers under Pungro block was organised by Dr Weri Mero, Medical Officer of Pungro CHC from September 1 to 10. A press release received here stated that Dr Mero sensitised the participants on the basics and importance of oral hygiene. He emphasised on the importance of timely visitation to a dentist for good oral hygiene and ill effects of tobacco consumption for oral health. Dr Mero also organised oral health camps at Jessami under Manipur.
