For the ‘first time in the history of Nagaland state,’ 25 NCC Junior Wing cadets of St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School, Lerie affiliated to 1 Nagaland Girls Battalion NCC, Kohima will be part of the NCC Brass Band representing NCC North Eastern Region (NER) Directorate in the Republic Day Camp 2024. The 25 NCC cadets, aged 13 to 15 years, will be marching on the Kartavya Path as part of the Marching Band for Republic Day Parade 2024. The band will also be attending training camp at Assam Rifles, Kohima from October 1 to 10 followed by Pre-RDC camp scheduled in December 2023.
