The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) received books and study materials for the Mokokchung Law College library which was donated by Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly on September 1. Mokokchung Law College was established by AKM in  1981 and is the oldest law college in Nagaland. As directed, for redresses of the uncut portion of the aligned Foothill, members the Nagaland Foothill Road Construction Committee (NFHRCC), PWD (R&B) Dimapur Division and adjoining villages undertook a joint survey assessment visit to the Niuland sector on August 31. The NFHRCC acknowledged the prompt action taken as appealed by the Chief Engineer, PWD(R&B) Er Limanaro to submit details report  within a stipulated for final assessment to  restore the entire foothills stretches to a motor able road in the ensuing winter season as desired by the Naga public. The office of Deputy Commissioner Kohima accorded farewell to Keneizezo, Political Assistant to DC Kohima on his retirement on August 31. Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, ADC Kohima and Keneilezo, Head DB Kohima also spoke at the function. The function was chaired by Shaying Sheu, SDO (C) Kohima.
