BJP ST Morcha Dimapur district conducted community service 'Sewa Saptah' in and around Dimapur town on September 18. The team visited six hospitals and distributed over 300 packets of packed fruits to the hospital faculties and patients.

The BJP 2 Dimapur-II Mandal is underatking tree plantation in an around 2 Dimapur-II constituency to observed 'Sewa Septah' (Service Week) in commemoration of 70th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

‘Made in DABA-V’ went online to reach out to a larger customer base. Already 70 young entrepreneurs took part in the event and 258 parcels were delivered for free within the Dimapur town area on September 19. ‘Made in DABA’ ministry, an initiative of Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA), started on August 10, 2016, with the aim to promote indigenous products and provide platform to youth trying to establish themselves as entrepreneurs. Various locally made products including handicrafts, organic tea leaves, clothing and accessories, face mask, potteries, food items, musical instruments, paintings, gift items etc were made available for orders on the DABA Youth Ministry Instagram and Facebook accounts. A free animal health camp was organized by Veterinary College, Jalukie in collaboration with 36th Assam Rifles at Mhainamtsi village under Peren District on September 19. Dr AK Sangwan, Dean, initiated the programme and the camp was coordinated by Dr Gunjan Das, Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Keneisezo Kuotsu, Dr Neithonu Kuotsu and Dr Tukheswar attended the camp where a total of 299 cases were treated.

Dr Sosang Longkumer, CEO of ALON MPCS Limited (Society) and Founder and Director of KONGER AGRITECH (Pvt Ltd Company) conducting one-day free training on shiitake cultivation process on September 19. MLA, II Dimapur-2 A/C, Moatoshi Longkumer donated essential items including furniture, refrigerator etc and also Rs 2000 to the newly inaugurated Health Sub-Centre at Signal Angami, Dimapur. The Signal Angami village council (SAVC) and Signal Angami Village Health & Sanitation committee (SAVHSC) has acknowledged the ML for his support towards the health sector. 

A mass social work for in all the government institutions, offices and anganwadi centers was conducted from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at Wokha on September 19. The mass social work was conducted as per district convergence action plan as part of Poshan Maah month 2020 celebration.
