Nagabazar Youth Organisation (NYO) in collaboration with Fire & Emergency Services Nagaland (South Station) organized awareness programme on fire prevention, protection and life safety on October 11. The team was led by 2nd OC Sevi Kera. He highlighted on the new act of Nagaland Fire Service Act. The team shared on the importance of fire safety and prevention, where youth can be the best and the first response team to prevent things at initial stage and safe the society from fire and other destruction. The team also imparted hands-on knowledge to the youths. The programme was chaired by Ketoukho Mere, General Secretary NYO and vote of thanks by Ketou Kintso, President NYO.
The District Administration & District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Phek presented mother and new born girl child with gift hampers and certificate under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in observation of International Day of the Girl Child on October 11 under the theme ‘Invest in Girls' rights: Our leadership and well-being’ at District Hospital, Phek. Tsenthungo E Ngullie (NCS) SDO Civil & Nodal officer BBBP, Phek highlighted on the significance of the day. The programme was organised with an objective to encourage and appreciate institutional delivery and to promote security and education of the girl child.Apostle Rev Luoliehu Yimsung, Sydney, Australia with Kohima Bar Association after motivational talk on ‘Leadership Alliance’ at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Kohima on October 9.
