The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan committee of Baptist College, Kohima organised a cleanliness drive on April 13 in Mission Compound along with 41 student volunteers and 4 staff members. The volunteers cleaned the road leading to ABCC gate starting from Kohima village gate.

Health education programme and poster exhibition on Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus was conducted at Kigwema village council hall on April 17. The participants included village council chairman and members, Chairperson Women’s Organization, leaders and members of SHG. Short speech was delivered by Dr Superna Khera, Chief Medical Officer (SAG) NIPHTR Mumbai. Health talk and quiz on healthy eating habits for Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus was delivered by Yungmei L Phom. Exercise Demonstration was presented by Lipokakum Jamir.
The Department of Commerce, ICFAI University Nagaland organised a seminar on ‘Safe Banking Practices’ on April 16 coordinated by Head of the Dept (Commerce), Dr Tapashi Dasgupta. Resource person of the Seminar Ratul Chakraborty, Cluster Head, Yes Bank enlightened the students on the considerations that customers should take while carrying out digital operations. The seminar concluded with a question-answer session.
Kohima Law College felicitated Ekyanrhoni P Lotha and Abi Kent for securing gold medal award in the LL.B final examination conducted by Nagaland University in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Earlier two students had also secured Gold Medal Award. The awardees attended the programme with parents, present students, management, both teaching and non-teaching faculties. The Administrator spoke and felicitates the Gold Medalist followed with student’s council, Asst Professor Tongpok and Asst Professor Kezhokhoto Savi. The present students presented special numbers and the two Gold Medalists spoke at the end.
MGM College Students’ Union election for academic session 2024-2025 was held on April 12 followed by oath-taking ceremony on April 15. The student body elected Pongshing Konyak -General Secretary, Lemdang C Phom-Assistant General Secretary, Chunchamwilliu Newmai - Cultural Secretary, Roshida Begum Tapadar - Finance Secretary, Mihlei Konyak - Sports Secretary, Alovika K Assumi and Bikram Rai-Representatives of ANCSU, Disha Das-Women Coordinator, and Rangwamzoing-Media and Information Secretary. The election was conducted under the supervision of Election Commissioner Peter Paoginpu, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. The Vice Principal graced the oath-taking ceremony. 
The winners of the 37th Inter-University National Youth Festival were honoured at a felicitation programme held at Nagaland University Headquarters in Lumami on April 17. The event, graced by Prof Mithilesh Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor in charge as chief guest, saw the presence of guests, faculty members, officers, research scholars, and students. The festival held from March 28 to April 1 was hosted by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. As a token of recognition, all the winners were awarded certificates and shields and a special recognition was extended to team leaders Dr Rishikesh Fauzdar and Dr Gyati Yam.
The Department of Economics, Salt Christian College, Dimapur organised field work on the topic ‘Distinctive features of vendors in daily market and weekly market’ on April 17. Students accompanied by teachers interacted with around 30 vendors of their incomes, prices, problems etc.
