The skill training programmes on banana fibre extraction and handicraft development commenced with two batches on March 19 at Lotha Eloe Hoho Office, Wokha and Longsa Community Hall. The training was organised by Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha, in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Wokha, Sakhi-One Stop Centre, Wokha, NSRLM, Wokha, and Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, Dimapur. A total of 65 women from Wokha Town and Longsa Village participated in the programme.

The annual sports meet of Baptist High, Kohima was held from March 14 to 16 with Zeneikhonuo Vimero, Joint Secretary & Ex-Officio Director, Department of Science & Technology, and also an alumna of the school as the special guest.
The Kisan Morcha under BJP Mokokchung district appointed new office bearers for its current tenure with Tiawati as vice president, Arishilu as vice president, Rongsenwati as Vice president, Tiajungla as General Secretary (Org) and Lanumeren as secretary. The appointment letters were signed and handed over by its Kisan Morcha President Rongsenyanger under the leadership of BJP District President S Bendang Aier. 
Department of Political Science Modern College, Piphema organised a departmental field trip to Sendenyu Community Biodiversity and Wildlife Reserve and Parashen under Tseminyu district on March 16. The annual department trip was organised to inculcate in the students the importance of preserving the natural flora and fauna of the area. The students along with the teaching faculty trekked the forest reserve area to Parashen. The trip was undertaken by the 2nd and the 6th semester Political Science Department, Honours students along with five faculties.
On completion of the 1st regular term of Nagaland Medical Council (NMC), the newly elected/nominated team held its first meeting on March 18 at Nagaland Medical Council Conference Hall to elect the President, Vice-President and formation of different Conveners, committees and representatives to various Councils. Dr Puse Liegise was elected as President and Dr Ahokhe Shikhu as Vice-President of NMC for a period of five years. The NMC is a statutory (Legal) regulatory body formed by the Nagaland Medical Council Act 2014. It provides registration of all allopathic medical practitioners and monitor medical practices in the state to ensure that all medical practitioners conform to the Medical Council of India (MCI) code of Medical Ethics.
