Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman of Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland, Abu Metha called on Australian Consul-General, Hugh Boylan in Kolkata on April 22. He was accompanied by Chairman of TaFMA, Theja Meru. The meeting is a follow-up of Boylan’s recent visit to Nagaland during which he called on the Chief Minister, the Governor and the Chief Secretary. It was informed that the meeting discussed various issues related to strengthening bilateral ties and future collaborations including possibilities of investment opportunities and cultural exchanges.

Maj Gen Manish Kumar, SM, Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) called on Governor of Nagaland La. Ganesan at Raj Bhavan, Kohima on April 22.  During the interaction, IGAR (N) briefed the Governor on the overall security situation in Nagaland and adjoining areas of South Arunachal Pradesh. He reinforced Assam Rifle’s commitment to the wellbeing of the people through a synergistic approach with all the stakeholders in civil society, security agencies and close connects with different strata of society.
