The Lotha Community Mokokchung organised a cleanliness drive in Mokokchung Town on June 22. They undertook cleaning activities in the town centre and the area below FAC Taxi Stand and segregated the waste collected. They also constructed benches at R Kathing Memorial Park.
As part of the skill development activity the Women Department of Zeme Baptist Church Kohima held a cooking class at the church premises Midland on June 11. The programme was organised with the purpose of upgrading their cooking skills with easy to make cuisines for everyone to cook at home and also a time to connect with one another through cooking and sharing recipes. Resource persons were Kekuyile Lunglang, Akule Ilunglung and Mhonbeni Nsarangbe. The members were trained to cook pork spare ribs, homemade mayonnaise, chicken chop suey, beef roast and mix vegetable curry and exotic salad included greek salad, tuna salad and Mexican quinoa salad.One-day training for Counting Supervisor & Counting Assistants for Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election for town council, Wokha was held at DC’s conference hall, Wokha on June 22. EAC & Nodal Officer, Manpower & Training Management, Wokha, Luchui Fithu interacting with the counting personnel said that counting is one of the most important organs of the electioneering process, thus counting personnel are assigned with very important tasks. Therefore, she urged them to do their best to avoid any mistakes, error, irregularities, but should be meticulous and maintain integrity in their assigned duty for smooth conduct of the electioneering process.
