Routine Immunisation Transformation and Equity (M-RITE) Project, Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) organised World Immunisation Week 2023 under the theme 'The Big Catch-up' was celebrated AT Ramzie School, Jalukie, Peren on April 27.
The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) organised a 'Friendship Coordination Meet' with the tribal leaders of Kachari and Garo under Chümoukedima and Dimapur districts at Urra Village on April 29. A large number of leaders from CPO, CCCPO, GBs, KTUN, DGUN as well as leaders from nearby villages participated in the meeting which deliberated on a number of relevant issues pertaining to the age old mutual friendship.  

Enforcement Squad under National Tobacco Control Programme Mon carried out surprise raid on sale of tobacco products near school area on April 29. The team penalized 16 defaulters and seized tobacco products from the shops falling within the restricted area. Later the team destroyed the seized products at the premises of Police Station Mon.

Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung held one-day Fazlian cultural mosaic organized by the culture club and FAACSU to celebrate the diversity of the students in the college from different parts of the state. 

St Thomas Mission Society organised career guidance classes at Living Stone Foundation International College, City College and NEISSR, Chümoukedima on April 28 in collaboration with Dr Mar Theophilos Institute of Management Studies (DMTIMS) Navi Mumbai. The society further conducted one day seminar at MGM College, Midland on April 29 with Yemhi Memorial and Cornerstone College, Dimapur.

The Peren Government College held its 3 Days Cultural cum Literary Fest, 2023 in the college campus from April 27 to 29. The events in the literary category included prepared speech competition, extempore speech, performance poetry, essay writing and quiz competition whereby the four groups, namely, Spades, Diamonds, Hearts and Clubs competed in the events. The cultural events include folk song, duet competition, ethnic cultural show, indigenous cooking, handicraft making, Naga wrestling, folklore drama and group song competition. 

The Placement and Career Counselling Cell, Unity College, Dimapur organised a Job-cum-Education fair mainly for the UG (6th Semester) and PG (4th Semester students) on April 28. The participating companies included Talent Acquaintance, Emporium, Pinnacles and Spectre Solutions, Bangalore. Institutions like Kaziranga University, Assam, Impact Hub Institute for Competitive Exam, Vedhik IAS Academy, Imperial Academy, State Institute of Hotel Management and Office of the District Employment Office, Government of Nagaland also participated in the event.  

The Department of Sociology, Yemhi Memorial College, Nepali Basti, Dimapur conducted a cleanliness drive as part of departmental activity at District Hospital Dimapur on April 29. Around 15 students and 1 teacher along with the staff of District Hospital Dimapur conducted a social work in and around the hospital by picking up waste, cleaning the parking lot, cleaning the flower etc.
