Modern College, Piphema on May 12 bade 'Vale' to the Class of 2020-23. The outgoing students were exhorted by the principal, Dr Vitsou Yano with the message of always keeping a positive outlook at life and looking at things differently. On the eve of the World Red Cross Day on May 8, the office bearers and Managing Committee Members of the Indian Red Cross Society Kohima district branch visited District TB and Chest Diseases Hospital Khuzama under Kohima district of Nagaland. The team met the staff of the hospital and handed over food materials of nutritional value while also wishing the patients speedy recovery.

The NSS Unit Mount Tiyi College in Collaboration with the IQAC and the Department of Political Science visited Morning Star Children`s Home on May 10 as part of its community service and donated rice bags, milk powder, sugar and tea leaves, stationary items, wall clock, indoor games like Chess & Ludo, skipping ropes, toiletry articles, biscuits and a doll and clothes.
