Gaidinmei Pamei was adjudged as the winner of the Face of Nagaland - Season 5 in a grand finale which was held at Iwu-Shi Garden, Full Nagarjan, Dimapur on July 9 evening. Chumei Phom and Teresa Rochill emerged as the first and second runners up respectively. The subtitles were won by: Miss Multimedia - Sharon Achumi, Miss Congeniality - Incale Iswarang, Miss Talented - Yangerben Yaden, Best Ramp Walk - Chumei Phom, Best Ethnic Wear - Kivikali Zhimomi, Miss Photogenic - Teresa Rochill. Sachin Jaiswal, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur was the chief guest on the occasion. The Face of Nagaland was organized by Nova Stellam organization and this season was powered by Royal Oak and sponsored by Lakme Salon and co-sponsored by Renault.
Members of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy (2022-2023) comprising of members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and other Officials arrived in Dimapur on July 9. The new team of office bearers of Lotha Hoho for the tenure 2023-202, which was installed in Wokha on July 10. The new team will be led by Er Mhondamo Ovung as its Chairman and Tsupon Murry as the General Secretary.
Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tsaru Block, Tuensang conducted training and demonstration programme on July 6 at Kiding village under Tsaru Block Tuensang. Resource persons, Tiyongnaro Imsong (ATM) and Dr T Arenmongla (BTM) gave training on preparation of ginger candy and on growing coriander through hydroponic system. Altogether 15 farmers attended the programme.

Sovima Village Council called on Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on July 8 and expressed gratitude to him and his cabinet for getting concrete assurance from the Union Home Minister that UCC shall not be made applicable to Christian and tribal communities. The council also apprised him of the various activities undertaken by the Village especially encouraging the local youths and entrepreneurs to avail the PDA flagship program Chief Minister's Micro Finance Initiative.
