The 32 Atoizu AC Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) consultative meeting for the upcoming Lok Sabha election was held at Atoizu HQ on April 8. The meeting was attended by party workers from all the 26 villagesunder 32 A/C Atoizu along with GBs and public leaders, 32 Atoizu NCP stated in a press note. The meeting unanimously decided to re-strengthen the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Convenor of People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak and resolved to work cohesively for the success of PDA consensus candidate Dr Chumben Murry in the 18thLok Sabha Parliamentary Election 2024.

Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit of Sao Chang College, Tuensang in collaboration with District AIDS Control and Prevention Unit (DACPU) Tuensang organised HIV Screening Test and Blood Grouping at College Campus on April 8. The programme was chaired by S Yanchangmongko Chang, RRC Nodal Officer SCC. District Programme Officer, Chongshen Chang, DACPU highlighted the importance of knowing ones HIV status. He urged the participants to help the society in educating the stigma of discrimination on HIV & AIDS patient. He also encouraged the students to volunteer in Blood Donation. All total 83 students and Teacher participated in HIV Screening test and Blood grouping.
Science Departments of Sao Chang College conducted student extension service at 3rd NAP Bn. High School, Tuensang on April 9. Altogether 14 science students from the College demonstrated activities including illustrative presentation on basic Science topics such as Transportation in Human Beings, Carbon and its Compounds, Metals and non-metals, Heredity. A model on Magnetic Effect of Electric Current was also demonstrated.
