A two day long Sports Meet 2024 of the youth department of Kohima Phom Baptist Church commenced today at 4th NAP Ground, Thizama. The sports meet features football (Boys), Basketball, volleyball and rally race for both boys and girls. The meet will continue till April 12.

The Alumni Association of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, convened its annual general body meeting and approval of the constitution programme. The meeting was chaired by Edward Patton, Vice President of the Alumni Association, invocation was said by Limanenla LKR, Joint Secretary and welcome address by Peter Vizo, President. The General Secretary and Treasurer reports were presented. The Year Plan outlined by M Matthew Yhome, Finance Secretary of Alumni Association. Dr Fr George Keduolhou Angami, Principal of SJC (A), Jakhama, and a patron of the Alumni Association, emphasised the significant role alumni play in contributing to the development of their Alma Mater. The meeting culminated with vote of thanks by Kiviboto Sheqi, Media Coordinator.
St Joseph University, Nagaland Department of History in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) conducted career guidance on the theme ‘Be Extraordinary’ on April 10. The resource person was Metsivizo Phira, Inspector of Excise, Government of Nagaland, Honorary Faculty & Proprietor of Achievers Academy. The resource person encouraged the students to identify and explore career options, make informed decisions about their future, and develop strategies to achieve their goals. He also shared his own experiences, steps, and ways to prepare for the civil service examination and never to work on the principles of the rocket which he says is the best example relatable to the Naga people. 
As part of sanitation and beautification programme initiated by Zeme Baptist Church Council Women Department, the Women Department of Zeme Baptist Church Kohima carried out a social work to clean up the Flyover & Boxcutting area in Midland, Kohima on April 11. More than 30 women participated in cleaning the area.
