Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Students’ Union of Sao Chang College, Tuensang jointly organised a community extension service at District Hospital Tuensang on April 6. A cleanliness drive was organised in the District Hospital campus with the student volunteers and IQAC also donated a moveable plastic commode to the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, Tuensang which is located inside the establishment of the District Hospital Tuensang. All together 24 students, 5 IQAC members, IQAC coordinator and Principal extended their service to the community.
The Zeliangrong Baudi (AMN) & Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland conducted social work at the Auditorium Hall, Rani Gaidinliu Cultural Centre at New District H.Q Peren on April 5. The building was constructed by the Department of Art and Culture in memory of the Zeliangrong freedom fighter ‘Rani Gaidinlliu’. The Alumni Committee of Baptist College in collaboration with Mahendra’s Education, Kohima organised a career orientation session on April 6 for the students of 4th semester and 6th semester of Baptist College, Kohima at Rivenburg’s Chapel Hall, Kohima on the theme “Government Sector Competitive Exams.” Resource person Biswajyoti Dutta, NPSC program head @Mahendra’s Education talked on competitive exams in the government, private and service sector. The session was led by Alito Swu, Assistant Professor, Department of History & Member, Alumni Committee, while welcome address was delivered by L. Thsidelong Rüdy ( HoD), Department of Political Science & Convenor, Alumni Committee.
