NO PARKING ZONE: The stretch of NST Bus Station to Razhu point Kohima has been declared as ‘no parking zone’ for three days from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm w.e.f August 2. In a notice issued by Kohima Deputy Commissioner, stated that such “No parking zone” has been necessitated to facilitate Kohima Smart City Development Ltd  to carry out ‘streetscape documentation—video and photography documentation’ within the said stretch during the period from August 2 to 4. Meanwhile, the public have been advised to utilize the multi level car parking during the said period. (Morung Photo)

The Dilong Youth Association (DYA) celebrated its 23rd foundation day by organising a programme at the Dilong community cum youth hall and on account of the foundation day. The youth office along with the executives visited the Care and Support Children Home at Sabangya, Mokokchung.


The 38th Assam Rifles, Phek organised ex-servicemen rally and Veer Naris meet at Phek Battalion HQ on August 1. Col Chundawat Prashant Singh, Commandant 38th AR delivered welcome address. The programme was marked by medical camp, grievances redressal counter, distribution of booklet on “Entitlement of Assam Rifles Pensioners & their dependents to all Ex SMs etc. Chundawat also discussed about various issues with Veer Naris, members of widow and Phek Area Mothers’ Association.
