The Zunheboto District Level Consultative Committee (DLCC) was held at DC conference hall on December 7. A DIPR report stated that Zunheboto DC Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS in his short speech said tobacco is affecting life of many people starting from adult to elderly people and advised everyone to refrain from using any tobacco kinds. “Anti-drug hospital has been proposed and expected to been established in the coming years,” he stated. Zunheboto SP Lupe Moza, NPS congratulated to all the staff involved and requested that certified tobacco free zone Institute and village should perform consistently in the fight against eradicating drugs abuses. Total of 19 schools and three village i.e. Aghuyito, Shoixe and Zhekiye have official been certified as Tobacco Free Zone Villages.Members of the Nagaland National Pension System Government Employees Forum (NNPSGSEF) led by its president Moanungsang Jamir attended the Pension Jay Ghosh Maharally at Jantar Mantar organised by the All India National Pension System Employees Federation (AINPSEF) on December 10. According to a report, the event re-affirmed a resolution of Nagas’ rights to “live as a people through unification of all Naga areas” and called for reclaiming “Naga peoplehood.” It also included a silent prayer in remembrance of Naga martyrs, a dialogue and envisioning session on equality, freedom, and justice, as well as a prayer for peace and justice.
