Khensa Süngkhüm (village welcome gate) was inaugurated by I Alemmeren Longchar, chairman of Khensa Village Council on December 22. The Süngkhüm was constructed by the Aliyinden Lanuteba Zunga.
The Oasis Club organised the 4th Women’s Volleyball Tournament 2025 in memory of late Ethungbeni Ennipvui at the Old Changsu Football Ground from December 22 to 23. The two-day tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation. The tournament aimed at promoting women’s sports while honouring the memory of the late Ethungbeni Ennipvui. In the final match, Alley Avengers Suren emerged as the champions. Melameli New Riphiyim secured the first runners-up position, the New Changsu Volleyball Team finished as the second runners-up, while Christmas Khichoe Okho claimed the third position in the tournament.
December 22, 1872, marks the establishment of the “first Baptist church on Naga soil at Molungkimong.” In celebration of this historic anniversary in Nagaland’s church history, a memorial to Godhula Brown was unveiled on December 22, 2025, by Ao Baptist Church Council (ABAM) Executive Secretary, Rev Temsu Jamir.
