Department of History, Sao Chang College organised a field trip to Langa village along with the 6th semester students to visit the archaeological excavation site on February 17. Langa village is one of the ancient villages of the Yimkhiung community which lies to the south of Kuthur village, about 18 kilometres from Tuensang town. Professor Tiatoshi Jamir and his team of experts from Nagaland University and the University of Sydney and La Trobe University, Australia, gave a detailed lecture on the ongoing excavation being done at the site.
