Calvary Bible Institute Team North East held its Graduation Ceremony for Class 2024-2025 at Life Spring Corner Dimapur on February 3. The commencement message was delivered by Rev Sukumar Chettri, CBI Director on the theme “Changing lines that change the nation.” Testimony was shared by Rosey Kesen and Ravi Pradhan. Calvary vision was highlighted by Rev Daniel Sotang while awards and recognition was presented by Uttam Bharati, chairman and D Sanjay Sunar, Secretary. The programme was led by Rana Chetrri, Chief Coordinator while vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Sanjay Sonar, Secretary.

Sara S Jamir, Deputy Commissioner Niuland inaugurated sanitary napkin vending machine at the Office of Deputy Commissioner, Niuland under the initiative of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Niuland, Mission Shakti. The 2nd phase of online training on registration of birth and death was held at ETC Hall Tuensang on February 5, organised by District Economic and Statistical Office Tuensang. P Shokum, District Economic and Statistical Officer, Tuensang gave a brief introductory note about the training programme. The Training session was conducted by resource person, Nzanbemo Kithan, Economic and Statistical Officer, where he spoke on importance of registration of birth and death, procedure for online Registration of Birth and Death and Civil Registration System (CRS). Veterinary College Jalukie conducted awareness programme on scientific poultry farming & free health cum vaccination camp at Old Jalukie village on February 5, under the project entitled “Evaluation of CARI-Improved germplasm and its popularization in the NEH region.” Altogether above 180 poultry and livestock farmers were benefited through technology distribution, vaccination and free animal health camp. The programme was organised by Veterinary College Jalukie in collaboration with ICAR-CARI, Izzatnagar, UP Barielly.
