As part of the district tour programme, State Headquarter officials of Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides visited Zunheboto district and had a consultative meeting with the district officials at Deputy Commissioner's Office, Zunheboto on February 25. The Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur hosted the 'Cease for Cervical Cancer Marathon' on February 23. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about cervical cancer, promoting education, prevention, and early detection.
Model Christian College conducted a workshop on “Tutorials: Unlocking Students’ Potential” for the faculty of the college on February 4 with Dr Rajesh Babu Pammi, Assistant Professor, Modern Institute of Teacher Education, Kohima as the resource person. Dr Pammi spoke about the different tools and techniques used by teachers for tutorial purposes. He focused on the importance of teachers’ preparedness and honing a well-structured approach for a well-managed classroom and for effective tutoring. Tsutsamo Ezung and Rieli Pa from Mahendra’s Coaching Institute, Dimapur delivered a career guidance talk to the students on how to prepare for competitive exams. They also provided tips and tricks to succeed in any public exams.
