Commemorating the consecration of the Ram Jamnabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, the Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan visited the Hindu Mandir at PWD Kohima on January 22. During the visit, the Governor offered puja and attended the live-telecast of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, PRO Raj Bhavan stated in a press release. A seminar on ‘Children in the context of Ao Naga’ organised by ABAM Education & Literature Ministry was held from January 17 to 19 at CBCNEI Guwahati, Assam. Altogether 65 Associate Pastor Christian Education attended the seminar. The resource persons were Dr Moanungsang Tzüdir, Secretary, Education and Literature, ABAM; Ela, Director, Prodigal's Home Dimapur; and Butisen Ozüküm, student of Media & Education, MLCU, Shillong.Five selected volunteers from the Nagaland State NSS Cell attended the 27th National Youth Festival was held at Nashik, Maharashtra from January 12 to 16 which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. More than 17,000 youths participated from all over India where 7000 NSS volunteers showed active participation. The 5 volunteers from Nagaland were Kipangwala Longchar (St. Joseph’s College Autonomous, Jakhama) Kohima; Keneisato Sothu & Vicieselü Lohe (Don Bosco College) Kohima; and Lichumthung Lotha & Pulokali K Awomi (JN Aier College) Dimapur.
