The Innerwheel Club (IWC) of Dimapur marked its 10th installation ceremony, Jaagriti, at the Rotary Centre, Midland, Dimapur on July 10. The ceremony was graced by Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal IAS as the chief guest. Nidhi Modi was installed as President and Ritu Sethi as Secretary for 2023-24 tenure. Newly installed office bearers took their oath led by Installation Officer, Rtn PDG Chandu Agarwal. The club also honoured women from various fields and awarded meritorious students of Rotary & Inner Wheel Club from the 10th & 12th boards. Under a project aimed at rehabilitating the disabled, a visually impaired girl, Labina from GHS Lingrijan, who passed the HSLC exam was rewarded cash donations and gifts for her studies.


Phek District conducted district training of trainers on scale up of U- WIN on July 10 at CMO conference hall, Phek. It was chaired by Dr Khriezotuo Paphino, Chief Medical Officer. Dr K Pewezo Khalo DPO (RCH/UIP) briefed the participants on the objects of U-WIN training. The resource persons were Dr K Pewezo Khalo DPO (RCH/UIP), Sedeu Rupreo, DPM(NHM),  Zuvutho, VCCM (UNDP) and from the state were Imli Longkumer Project Officer UNDP, Sungjemkaba Project officer IT and Dr Chapkelilakbo Dailam, VCCM Peren.
