Minister of PHED and Cooperation, Jacob Zhimomi, on July 2, called on the Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi. The discussions centered around the development of sports and continued support of the concerned Ministry as Nagaland undergoes a defining moment in the sports arena along with the rest of the country.
The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DHFW), Nagaland, held a farewell programme on July 1 to honour three retiring senior officers for their dedicated service. Principal Director Dr Mereninla Senlem presented citations to the outgoing officers — Dr Vezokholu Theyo, Director; Dr Neisakho Kere, Additional Director; and Tiatoshi Amer, Joint Drugs Controller — in recognition of their contributions to the department. The programme, held at the IDSP Hall, DHFW, was chaired by Dr Sendimeren Aonok, Director (Health and ME).
