A three-day district training for Urban ASHAs on expanded packages of services under CPHC at AB-HWCs was held at CMO conference Hall, Mokokchung from July 16. The training aims to educate the ASHAs on Emergency Care, Oral Care, ENT Care, Eye Care, Mental, Neurological and substance use disorders, Elderly Care and Palliative Care. Mock sessions were also conducted. Trainers included Sentirenla Longchar Consultant (NUHM) and Chubakatila GNM UPHC Yimyu. ASHA training will continue till July 31 for Changtongya, Tuli, Mangkolemba, Alongkima, Tsurangkong and Ongpangkong Block.
