A Common Kingfisher rescued at the residence of K Neibu Sekhose in Kohima was handed over to the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on July 17. The bird, found uninjured, was later released at Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary in the presence of DFO Kohima Dr Sevono Seletsu, RFO Kohima Medolezo Kire, and department staff.
National Level Training Programme for Booth Level Officer (BLO) was held at DC’s conference hall, Mokokchung on July 17. The trainees were imparted training on Special Intensive Revision Overview of SIR, Verification Duties & Focus Area, Using of BLO App, Demonstration of Login, Data Entry and Submitting Report,How to correctly fill Forms and Evaluation. ADC & ERO, Mokokchung, Atsungba Walling, while delivering the welcome speech also emphasize on Objectives by ERO stressing BLOs Crucial Role.
