Resting shed at Thüvopisümi Dzüdü Lake under Phek district was inaugurated by Imokokla Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chozuba in the presence of EAC Chozuba, Obangnener Jamir and EAC Chetheba Omegali and the village leaders and functionaries on July 20. ADC Chozuba appreciated the initiative of Thüvopisümi Youth Association (TYA) in constructing the resting shed for visitors. She maintained that the youth have the potential to bring about change and urged upon them to carry forward their mission in positive manner. A brief history of Thüvopisümi Dzüdü (Lake) was given by Zachisato Tetseo. The programme was chaired by TYA President, Künükhrüyi Dozo while Thüvopisümi Village Council Chairman, Vekuyi Dozo proposed the vote of thanks.

Northern Angami Students Union (NASU) has started its 2nd phase of education drive. The union completed its 1st phase of education drive which started from March 10, 2022 till April 14, 2022 within its jurisdiction and had visited each and every school. After collecting various data and issues from the schools, the union visited Government Middle School Ziezou and Government Middle School Phekerkriema on July 19 and held a joint meeting with the Village Council, Phekerkriezou Students Union, Youth Leaders, Teachers and School Managing Committees. NASU held a healthy discussion and deliberation for the upliftment of the schools and the students.

The ballot box and other election materials in connection with the Presidential Election, 2022 were deposited back to the Returning Officer and Secretary General, Rajya Sabha at Parliament House, New Delhi on July 19 by the Assistant Returning Officer, Khruohituonuo Rio. She was accompanied by KV Vitoho, Section Officer, and KhiudiaNewmai, Junior Section Officer. The Presidential Election was held on July 18 between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat along with the rest of the Country. A medical camp was organised by the 43 Assam Rifles at Aoyimti village on July 20. Many villagers were benefited, specially the old and needy. The council as well as the community are grateful to the Assam Rifles for their kind gesture.
