Naga Students’ Union Dehradun (NSUD) along with the Dehradun Eastern Naga Students Union organised the annual Naga Sports and Literary Meet 2023 from June 28 to 30. A press release received here stated that the event brought “together individuals from all walks of life, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within our community.”

The Multi Utility Centre building was donated by Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) and the use of the facilities officially started on July 3, 2023, at Impur, ABAM mission Centre. “This center is opened not just as a profit-making business but more towards giving compatible services to the residents, travelers, tourists, and everyone who experience the pleasant environment here at Impur. Assam Rifles organized a wreath laying ceremony at the Unit War Memorial at Ghaspani to pay homage to Rfn (GD) Ravindran Pillai, Rfn (GD) Prem Singh and Rfn (GD) Dulap Singh who have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on July 2, 1992 while the unit was deployed in Thobal, Manipur. The event was attended by a total strength of 4,20,129 Battalion where in the attendees were briefed on how the fallen hero displayed conspicuous gallantry, indomitable resolve, grit, determination and selflessness beyond the call of duty and made the supreme sacrifice in the true tradition of the force. Christ King Church Kohima village organised the Eucharistic Procession on July 2. The procession ends with Adoration. The people from different places took part in the procession. Eucharistic Procession is a public witness of the veneration toward the most Holy Eucharist conducted through public streets.
Cleanliness drive as part of Swachhta Pakhwada, 2023 was carried out by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, National Sample Survey Office (Field Operations Division), Regional office Kohima at Highland Park near Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on July 3. Two waste bins were also donated to the park.
Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) organised a weeklong library hours-cum-hands on computer programme for Gorkha students of Kohima district of Class 3-8. The valedictory function was held at Multi-Utility hall, GPPK complex Chandmari, Kohima on July 2 with Ranjit Lama, former Advisor, GPPK as the special guest. The programme began with Deep Prajwalan. It was chaired by YB Rana, Treasurer GPPK, Programme Director, Monoj Rai presented report of the weeklong programme while Kriti Thapa shared her experience on behalf of the participants.
