ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), implementing the SBI Gram Seva programme in the five adopted villages of Bade, Diezephe, Khriezephe, Tsithrongse and Urra organized training for the farmers on Paddy Field Pest Management and Line Transplanting. The training was organised at Diezephe village council hall in collaboration with Agriculture Department, Chümoukedima District. The resource persons were Rokovotsolie and Aripong Ao Agriculture Officers, and Mayangtemba, Agriculture Field Assistant, Agriculture Department, Chümoukedima. 75 farmers from the five adopted villages participated the training. Assisi Centre for Integrated Development and NDWM Nagaland Region observed World Day against Trafficking in Person in Tila Bosti, bordering Assam and Nagaland on July 31. Muni Barwah, VDP President (Women) was the resource person. Raja, Gaonbura of the locality in his address expressed concern for children who roam around and become the prey to drugs and other social evils. Sr Pramila Lobo, Director, Assisi Centre expressed concern over growing menace of social evils where people sell another for flesh trade, organ trafficking, and false promise of better job opportunities and better life in the cities. Bharat Vikas Parishad Charter Presentation Organisation Charter was presented to Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Dimapur Branch at a function organised at Sewa Bharti, Signal Basti Dimapur on July 30. The Longleng District Enforcement Squad team carried out a surprise raid on shops falling within the educational institutions under Section 4 of COTPA, Act 2003, on July 31. A total of 15 defaulter shops were imposed fine and 13 shops were penalised for not pasting Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice Act 2015.
