A wreath laying ceremony was organised in Ghaspani, Nagaland to pay homage to Bravehearts Rfn (GD) Dulap Singh, Rfn (GD) Ravindran Pillai and Rfn (GD) Prem Singh who made the supreme sacrifice on July 2, 1992 at University Campus Canchipur, when they were deployed at Thoubal in Op Hifazat, Manipur. The event was attended by 03 Offrs, 21 JCOs and 252 Other Ranks of the Battalion. The attendees were briefed on how the fallen heroes displayed conspicuous gallantry, indomitable resolve, grit, determination and selflessness beyond the call of duty and made the supreme sacrifice in the true tradition of the Force.
Model Christian College conducted an orientation programme for the freshers on July 3 at the college auditorium. During the first session, Shovelu Keyho, dean academics and Dr Mhabemo Odyuo, vice principal of the college spoke on topics such as academics and discipline respectively. In the second session, Vizono Khesoh, dean of students welfare and Dr Luke Rymbai, principal spoke on the programmes and activities, and functioning of the college. Kumar Tamang, computer instructor guided the students for registration of ABC I.D.
