Mass social work was held in the premise of Chief Medical Officer’s Office as part of Deputy Commissioner Dimapur initiative for Pre-Monsoon Preparedness in the district on March 31. Like-wise, all health units under Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dimapur also conducted mass social work in their respective health centres.
Assam Rifles organised an interaction program and provisioned books for youth preparing for competitive exams in Jalukie, Peren District, Nagaland on June 1. During the program, the officials from Assam Rifles interacted and motivated 20 aspirants (15 boys and 5 girls) and supported their preparations.As a pre-monsoon preparedness measure, mass social work was carried out in Wokha town and all the sub-divisions under Wokha district on May 31. DC Wokha, Vineet Kumar IAS and ADC Wokha Renbomo Ezung inspected all the wards and colonies during the mass social work. As assigned, different departments cleared the drainage systems, removing debris, trimming overgrown vegetation etc, in their allotted areas.
