Nagaland: News in Pictures

The new District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Centre in Zunheboto, first initiated by late MLA KC Nihoshe in 2012, remained incomplete for years after construction stalled. The project was revived in 2021–2022 under KT Sukhalu, then Advisor for School Education and SCERT, and is now nearing completion. However, despite the building being structurally ready, the institute cannot relocate due to the absence of basic utilities such as electricity and water both essential for its daily operations and teacher training programmes.
