A one-day basket making workshop for girls was held at Kuhuboto Town on Saturday, organized by the District Hub for Empowerment of Women under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. The workshop aimed to equip young girls with vocational skills and promote self-reliance. Ten participants received certificates at the end of the program, which was graced by Extra Assistant Commissioner Kelengunuo Solo. Speaking at the event, Solo encouraged the participants to continue building on their skills and expressed appreciation for initiatives that foster independence and self-sufficiency among young women in Niuland District.
