The Assam Rifles, in collaboration with CATC 50 of the 25 NL NCC Battalion (Kohima Group), marked Yoga Day at the Wokha Garrison on June 21. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Assam Rifles personnel and NCC cadets, who engaged in a thorough yoga session guided by seasoned instructors. The participants were taught on various asanas like Lotus Pose, Suryanamaskar, Camel Pose, Child Pose, Natarajasana, Warrior 1 Pose, Extended Triangle, Butterfly Pose, Intense Side Strength Pose, Reverse Plank Pose followed by Shave Asana.

Nagaland University, encompassing all its campuses in Lumami, Kohima, Medziphema, and Dimapur, celebrated International Yoga Day 2024 under the theme ‘Yoga for Self and Society.’ The event saw enthusiastic participation from a diverse group of around 500 people comprising officers, faculty members, staff members, scholars, and students.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Yuva Tourism Club of Livingstone Foundation International observed the International Day of Yoga in association with Livingstone Foundation Society and Breeze Women Welfare Association on June 21 under the theme ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment.’ 
The International Day of Yoga was observed on June 21 at Conference Hall, District Hospital Dimapur Organized by Integrated Ayush Hospital Dimapur in collaboration with Regional Ayurveda Research Centre (RARC) Dimapur.
Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur, Nagaland observed the 10th International Yoga Day with rest of the world. Students from Primary section to Secondary section displayed various Yoga Ashanas and the event was attended by the Secretary, Principal, Vice-Principal, Teachers, Students and guardians.           

 

The NSS of Mount Mary College observed International Yoga Day on June 21 on the theme ‘Yoga for Self and Society.’ Luwang, an enthusiast National Player of Yoga Sana Sports Federation and Kunjarani Sharma, Yoga Instructor and Secretary of NYSF Sports Organisation, Judge and a Coach were the resource Speakers. Yoga lessons and demonstration was given with the help of the Instructor and performer.
The Integrated AYUSH Hospital, Razha Chedema Kohima along with the rest of the world celebrated International Yoga Day. The programme was attended by the staffers of IAH.
Balijan English school in association with Patanjali Yog samiti observed  international Yoga Day here at Balijan English school, Karbi Anglong Assam on June 21.
