National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) Nagaland State Team, the youth Front of the National People's Party (NPP) celebrated World Music Day on June 21. In Dimapur, NPYF State Team marked the occasion in collaboration with Institute for Music Education, Duncan Basti, by sponsoring one month’s course fees for promising and deserving music students. NPYF Kohima District Unit volunteered at the World Music Day celebration held at Old NST Main Town, Kohima. NPYF Mokokchung District Unit participated in similar volunteer efforts in the district. Dr Longchar described teaching as more than a profession—it is a spiritual responsibility that demands reflection, dedication, and service. She urged educators to prioritise both academic excellence and character-building in students. She highlighted the need for teachers to reflect on their personal growth, remain open to learning, and lead a balanced life rooted in purpose.
